Fermentation
5 lb. and 20 lb. Bags
XtraChêne Granular oak is used during the alcoholic fermentation process and is available plain (untoasted) or toasted.
Granular oak is ideal for revealing the aromatic potentiality of wines and spirits. Granular oak can impart finesse, elegance and sweetness, while inhibiting juice oxidation. Toasted Granular oak helps to lessen the green taste when grapes are not fully ripe.
